The University of the Western Cape (UWC) Registration Fee for 2027 is between R1,000 to R5,000.

Following UWC registration, Students must pay the registration fee before applying to the University of the Western Cape.

UWC Application fees will not be refunded. Paying an application fee does not mean that your application will be successful.

The UWC application fee may be paid by cash, credit card, direct bank deposit or electronic funds transfer (EFT). Cash payments must be made at the Cashiers Office, Kramer Building, Middle Campus, UWC.

Therefore, the University of the Western Cape encourages Every student that wants to start a new application to apply at the University of the Western Cape online application portal.

How to Apply UWC Registration Online for 2027

In order to apply for UWC Online Registration, you will need the followings:

  • A working email address
  • your South African identity number
  • If you are an international applicant, your passport number

If you are unable to apply online, you may submit a paper application by printing the forms from the links below, and sending them to the Admissions Office at the address indicated on the right.
