The University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) Registration Fee for 2024 is R9340.
Following WITS registration, Students must pay the registration fee before applying to the University of the Witwatersrand.
WITS Application fees will not be refunded. Paying an application fee does not mean that your application will be successful.
The WITS application fee may be paid by cash, credit card, direct bank deposit, or electronic funds transfer (EFT). Cash payments must be made at the Cashiers Office, Kramer Building, Middle Campus, WITS.

In order to apply for WITS Online Registration, you will need the followings:
- A working email address
- your South African identity number
- If you are an international applicant, your passport number
